[5th Anniversary] Delio’s 5-Year Growth Story

On the very special occasion of Delio’s 5th anniversary, we would like to briefly introduce how Delio has grown with the support and love of our customers.

From the beginning, Delio has achieved continuous growth through ongoing innovation and effort. We have always been open to feedback, listening to our customer’s demands, and continuously improving to provide better services.

Over the past five years, Delio has introduced a range of services focused on cryptocurrencies, encompassing savings options for popular coins such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, USDT, and USDC, as well as lending, staking, and asset management. These offerings were introduced during a period when awareness of digital assets was relatively low both in Korea and internationally.

Delio’s digital asset innovation services have yielded impressive results, with a cumulative performance of $1.8 billion and a remarkable annual growth rate of 600%.

Delio’s prominent service, Delio Lending, recorded 58,647 lending applications and achieved a volume of $77.9 million as of May 2023.

Currently, Delio operates lending products for Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), and Ripple (XRP) with a maximum loan-to-value ratio (LTV) of up to 90%.

In celebration of Delio’s 5th anniversary, we are running a special event, reducing the annual percentage rate (APR) to 2% for all lending products.

Delio has not only provided various services in the domestic virtual asset market but has also made efforts to advance the industry by organizing seminars in the National Assembly for regulatory framework establishment and creating diverse educational programs.

Through these efforts, Delio has achieved a significant milestone in the realm of digital asset finance, becoming an $88.6 million-dollar enterprise.

In addition to acquiring the Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license in February 2022, Delio has also acquired the prestigious MBS license for cryptocurrency operations in the United States, ensuring compliance with local regulations and supervision by financial authorities in individual countries to provide a secure service.

Moving forward, as Delio expands into global markets, we will obtain country-specific licenses to comply with legal requirements and guidelines set by each nation.

In January of last year, Delio established a local corporation in the United States, laying the groundwork for a full-scale entry into the global market. We have obtained licenses to date and are engaged in joint ventures with global companies.

Delio has been actively engaged in partnerships with prominent global companies such as OKX, Blockdaemon, and Fireblocks to drive the development of diverse technologies and services. Furthermore, we have also established collaborations with well-established domestic financial institutions, including Eugene Investment & Securities, Shinhan Financial Investment, and OK Financial Group.

In particular, we recently signed an MOU with Eugene Investment & Securities, Lambda256, an Upbit subsidiary, and ITEYES to develop a Security Token Offering (STO) platform.

Delio’s diverse range of cryptocurrency asset services has garnered recognition for its innovative business practices, notable achievements, and high platform security.

As a result, we have successfully secured Series A investments from notable firms such as Shinhan Capital, Earnest Ventures, and Jinhak.
